Pottery -Press Mould making and Relief wall sculpture – New Date (02/10/22)

Start date:

2 October 2022

Start time:

10:00

This workshop will be in two sections, the first one is to cast a small plaster press mould with your own relief images (motives) that could be used in the Relief Wall piece but not a must. The mould could also be used to decorate your future work at the Hive.

The second section is to flatten out 20 cm square which will shrink to 17cm square when fired. One side will be decorated and the other side will have an area sculpted out to accommodate nails or screws in the wall for the piece to hang. You can pick your own theme for what is going to be featured on the wall piece. It could be your house, your garden, favourite animal, your pet, family, holiday picture etc. Bring your own tools if you got some, but we have everything you might need here. Preferably bring some sketches, or just a general idea of how you visualize your piece to be.
