We are looking for more people to come and join us, get some sponsorship and walk for Hive. We’d love for you to just join us on the walk, but if you would be willing to get a sponsorship form from us and raise a bit of cash, that would be amazing. Details below.
Get ready to roll with us on Hives sponsored walk where Hive members are getting out and about to raise much needed funds towards ongoing refurbishment costs. We’re excited to announce the Hive November sponsored walk is accessible to everyone, and wheelchair friendly.
The sponsored walk will take place on 18th November 2023, meeting in the middle of the park at The Half Moon Café at 12 midday.
The driving force behind this walk is our lovely Hive member Helen. She is planning on doing 6 laps, which will roughly work out at 10k steps. You can join her and the others for the whole 6 laps, or just part of it. Stanley, the Hive dog/mascot, will be doing a few laps, so if his little legs can, so can yours.
Together, we’ll take to the scenic paths of Roberts Park covering the miles for Arts and Wellbeing. We’re doing this to raise vital funds for Hive to help us continue our mission in providing an array of arts opportunities for everyone.
Whether you’re strolling, striding, or rolling, your participation will make a significant impact and we’d love you to join us.
So, save the date, gather your friends and family, and let’s get ready to roll! Don’t forget to dress for the weather – it is in November after all!
