Event Description
On this two day course you will learn good hand tool skills and techniques, making useful items using common woodworking joints, also enabling you to proceed on to your own projects if you want to, with guidance.
There will be a tutor led project, but if you feel you would like to work on a specific project, please contact us at office@hivebradford.org.uk with a good period of notice and we can arrange to have the correct materials.
This is pitched at any skill level. For beginners and improvers.
Please note that this course is taught by a female tutor and is for women only.
About our woodwork studio
The studio is well equipped with materials, tools and equipment and you do not need to bring any with you. We do recommend bringing and using a small notebook to keep a record of your work and ideas. You are welcome to bring your own tools but you will not be able to keep them at Hive.
You will be expected to follow Health and Safety guidance and our code of conduct whenever you use Hive’s woodwork studio.
