Parent and Child pottery – Autumn & Halloween theme – (27/09/26 and 18/10/26)

Pottery sessions for children with their parent.

Come along and get creative together in these fun, hands-on pottery sessions for children and
adults, inspired by Autumn and Halloween. Make, decorate and personalise your own pottery
creations to take home.

Join us for a two-session pottery course designed for one child and one accompanying
adult. Over two Sunday mornings, you’ll have the chance to get creative with clay, explore
pottery techniques and each make something special together.
No previous pottery experience is needed – just bring your imagination and get ready to have
fun!

Session 1 – Make:

Get hands-on with clay and create your own Autumn or Halloween-themed pot or sculpture and
use a variety of pottery tools and stamps to make your creation uniquely yours.

Session 2 – Paint & Glaze:

Once your creations have been fired, you’ll return for the second session to add colour and
your own designs using underglaze paints. Your pottery will then be finished with a clear glaze
and fired for the final time.

Your finished pieces will be ready to collect 2–3 weeks after the second session.

What’s included?
Clay, underglaze paints, glaze, use of pottery tools and stamps, two kiln firings

Please be aware, this can be messy work, we do have a selection of aprons to wear, but they may be a bit big for your child. So if they do have their own, you can bring that along.

No previous clay experience is required!

Note: Please make sure you are able to attend both sessions.
