| A 10 week course where you can learn skills in still life drawing and painting using pencil, charcoal and acrylics |
On this course you will learn:
| to make work from a variety of still life subjects. Learn and understand how composition, the principle of proportion and tonal values can improve your work. Explore how you can achieve painterly effects using charcoal and eraser as well as using paints and colour theory. There will be demonstration and constructive feedback during sessions, and we will look at the work made by other artists for inspiration and ideas. This course is suitable for beginners as well as those who have experience, and you do not need to think you are “good at drawing” to join this course. There are many “tricks to the trade” that will be taught to enable you to achieve success in your work. |
