5 December 2020
This hand stitch workshop will focus on stories of textiles during lockdown. An opportunity to share your own experience of textile making during this time and explore the work of others.
Participants need to bring their own simple sewing kit including scissors, threads and scraps of fabric that hold meaning to them, plus a textile made during lockdown to share a story about. Other materials will be provided.
This workshop will take place in a room in the Kirkgate Centre, above Hive. The main entrance is opposite the town hall – from the car park, head up the ramp at the far left end.
We’re grateful to the Heritage Lottery Fund for subsidising the cost of this workshop.
