Pottery shelves

Start date:

26 May 2023

Start time:

09:30

Members’ drop-in session in our pottery studio.

Pottery induction

Please note that these sessions are for experienced potters, or those who have attended one of our pottery classes previously.

Sessions are unsupervised and you must have also completed a Pottery Induction at Hive before your first drop-in.

Inductions take around half an hour and can be booked at reception (in person or by phone).

About the Bradford college pottery studio

The studio is well equipped with materials, tools and equipment and you do not need to bring any with you. We do recommend bringing and using a small notebook to keep a record of your work and ideas. You are welcome to bring your own tools but you will not be able to keep them at Bradford college.

You will be expected to follow Health and Safety guidance and our code of conduct whenever you use Bradford college’s ceramics studio.

About our independent (members’) drop-ins

You must be a member to access our independent drop-ins. If you cannot see a button to add events to your cart below then please ensure you are logged in to the site and your membership is up to date.

Drop-in times are 9.30am-12.30pm or 1-4pm. Sessions will be released weekly and are available when the room is not in use for courses or other activities.

Sessions can be booked online or at reception.

Please note that it is not possible to book specific pieces of equipment. In particular, the Potter’s Wheels are available on a first-come-first-served basis, and may be unavailable if being used for taught experiences.

You must have completed the relevant induction before attending your first independent drop-in.
