On this short 5 week course you are invited to explore the fascinating medium of watercolour and work from items found in nature. Gain experience and confidence in sessions where demonstration will lead to skills and ideas for further learning.
Demonstration and constructive feedback will be offered in sessions.
Materials you will need: Watercolours in pan(dry) form or tubes, some brushes of varying sizes (about 3-4), palette to mix, some small size watercolour paper (about 20 pieces of postcard size, can be cut or torn to size) or watercolour sketchbook, pencil and eraser, 2 water pots. Selection from: household tissue, ear buds, bubble wrap, tin foil, coarse salt, knife, old toothbrush, twig ( not all these needed, just what you can) An interesting bit of tree bark for the first session.
Once we have received your booking, we will contact you, prior to the course start date, with a Zoom link for all the sessions.
