20 April 2021
On this short 5 week course you are invited to take a look at the world up close. Explore detail and pattern from observation and using imagination to make work in dry media such as pens and pencils.
This course is suitable for all abilities and there will be plenty of inspiration and opportunity to make work during sessions.
There will be demonstration and constructive feedback during sessions, and we will look at the work made by other artists for inspiration and ideas.
Materials you may need: A selection from: pens ( biros, felt pens fibre tips and fineliners) pencils, colour pencils, eraser and plain and found papers. There is no need to have the full range though some colour work will be undertaken as well as black and white. You will also need some simple and readily found objects to draw from. This will be discussed at the first session.
Once we have received your booking, we will contact you, prior to the course start date, with a Zoom link for all the sessions.
Please view our current COVID-19 restrictions before booking / visiting.
If you are in receipt of low-income benefits, you can book three benefits places per year (one each term) if available.
